Operations Supervisor I

Responsibilities Facilitating compliance to corporate health, safety, and environmental affairs policies, including completion of all required training, documentation, and record keeping. Supporting sales efforts consistent with corporate and regulatory compliance, health, safety, and environmental standards. Leading the emergency response team in the branch. Supporting branch health and safety program and conducting safety audits in conjunction with Branch Operations Manager. Conducting daily pre-shift meetings and communicating expectations to employees. Creating a positive work environment and cultivating employee ownership of branch operations and performance. Participating in inspections from outside agencies (DOT, EPA, FDA, DHS). Direct supervision for Tank Farm Workers and Material Handlers. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. 4-6 years of proven experience in operations. Knowledge of chemical distribution facility operation. SAP or experience with similar ERP systems is beneficial. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Excel and Word. Location 400 Main St, Tewksbury, 01876 Pay and Benefits Salary range: $84,490 - $105,620. Salary may be influenced by experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and location.
