• Colostomy care and management
• Feeding tube care and management
• Medications
• Heparin
• Insulin
• PCA
• Professional Knowledge and Skills
• Isolation Precautions
• Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Work Settings
• Med/Surg
• MS/Tele
• Telemetry
• Genitourinary/Renal
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
• Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response
• Telemetry- remote monitoring
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary
• AH_Clinical Screening Track
• Non-Critical Care MS
• Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics
• General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry and potential medical surgical diagnoses
• Ratio / Census: 1:6; 38 bed unit with average daily census of 33
• Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR
