About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial & Administrative Officer (CFAO) to serve as a strategic executive leader responsible for the financial health, administrative infrastructure, enterprise systems, and organizational support functions. The CFAO will lead organizational strategy and financial stewardship, providing strategic financial leadership to support the company's mission, long-term sustainability, and growth. This includes overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring strong internal controls and compliance. The role also involves leading capital strategy and lending operations, providing executive leadership across various functions, and supporting governance, risk, and executive leadership. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in finance, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial strategy, and organizational operations. Experience in non-profit or CDFI settings, particularly with affordable housing or mission-based finance, is preferred. The CFAO will be a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive leadership team, and must demonstrate the ability to balance long-term vision with operational execution, navigate complexity, and lead with a collaborative, relationship-oriented style. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a CPA, MBA, or advanced degree being a plus. The role demands a leader with strong communication skills, executive presence, and a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
