Overview Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date 08/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,735-$2,930 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is a 12-hour night rotation with weekends and call rotation. This assignment occurs in a hospital setting with L&D, OR, PACU and postpartum care, providing couplet care for babies 32 weeks and up. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,735 to $2,930 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and call rotation Start date: 08/25/2026 Setting: hospital-based labor and delivery unit in Glenwood Springs, CO Travel assignment with opportunities to extend based on staffing needs Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for labor and delivery patients, including roles in OR, PACU and postpartum, with couplet care for moms and babies Monitor labor progression, fetal well-being, administer medications, manage pain relief, and support safe delivery and postpartum recovery Assist with newborn care for babies 32 weeks and older; collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe transition to postpartum Assume RN charge responsibilities as assigned; supervise and delegate tasks, ensure accurate documentation and patient safety Communicate with physicians, anesthesia, nursing colleagues, and ancillary staff; respond to obstetric emergencies; uphold evidence-based practice Maintain patient and family-centered care, provide education and discharge planning, and participate in unit quality improvement activities Requirements Current Colorado RN license or compact to practice in Colorado AHA BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP and STABLE as applicable Flu vaccine required RN Charge experience requiredgl L&D experience with OR, PACU and postpartum care; able to provide couplet care; comfortable working with babies 32 weeks and up Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and call Graduation from an approved nursing program Additional Information Radius rule: traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility CAPS requirements may apply; apply ASAP as processing may take up to two weeks Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay Dedicated travel support and 24/7 recruiter assistance Assignment-specific onboarding and ongoing support throughout the contract Opportunity for extension based on staffing needs #J-18808-Ljbffr HealthForce Healthcare
