Assembler

AssemblerAn Assembler is sought to perform mechanical assembly operations on manufactured components. The role involves assembling parts produced through 3D printing, CNC machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication into finished products according to engineering drawings and work instructions. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with hand tools and assembly equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble manufactured components into finished products following engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.Perform mechanical assembly including fastening, bonding, fitting, and alignment of parts.Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures safely and effectively.Install hardware including screws, bolts, nuts, washers, rivets, and other fasteners.Apply adhesives, sealants, and thread-locking compounds as specified.Verify part fit and alignment during the assembly process and perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.Identify and report defects or quality issues to manufacturing managers and quality engineers.Maintain organized work area and handle manufactured components carefully to prevent damage.Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Coordinate with manufacturing teams on component readiness and assembly priorities.Required QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: 1+ years of mechanical assembly experience or equivalent technical training.Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Basic computer skills for documentation. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.Preferred Qualifications2+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly.Experience with precision assembly and tight tolerance work.Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Experience with torque wrenches and precision measurement tools.Knowledge of adhesive bonding and fastening techniques.Experience in contract manufacturing or high-mix production environments.Forklift certification.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
