We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable Swim Instructors to join our team and make a positive impact on students’ lives.

Job Summary

As a Swim Instructor, you will teach swimming lessons to children and adults of various skill levels, from beginners learning water safety basics to advanced swimmers improving technique. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, safety-focused, and enjoys working with students in a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach safe and effective swim lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Create a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment
• Evaluate swimmer abilities and provide appropriate instruction based on individual needs
• Teach water safety skills, swimming techniques, and proper stroke development
• Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to help students build confidence
• Maintain constant supervision of students while in and around the pool area
• Follow all safety procedures, emergency protocols, and company guidelines
• Communicate professionally with parents/guardians regarding swimmer progress and goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment
• Assist with swim assessments and student advancement recommendations

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction, lifeguarding, coaching, or childcare experience preferred
• Strong swimming ability and comfort working in a pool environment
• Ability to work with children and provide patient, positive instruction
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a pool environment

Preferred Certifications (or Willingness to Obtain)

• American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification
• Lifeguard Certification
• CPR/AED Certification
• First Aid Certification

Schedule
