Leasing Assistant Job Summary:


A local property management company is looking for a friendly and organized individual to join their team as a Leasing Assistant. This position will support the leasing and property management team by assisting prospective and current residents, answering questions, scheduling tours and appointments, helping with lease renewals, maintaining resident documentation, and following up on day-to-day leasing and resident needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with people, staying organized, and helping create a positive experience from the first inquiry through move-in and beyond.


Leasing Assistant Responsibilities :

• Greet prospective residents and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist current and prospective residents
• Assist with leasing activities, including applications, lease renewals, and resident communications
• Perform general office and administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office records
• Support the Property Manager with day-to-day office operations
• Assist with community outreach and marketing efforts as assigned
• Complete additional administrative projects as needed

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift, M-F 9am-6pm
• $18-$22/HR based on experience

Leasing Assistant Qualifications:

• Previous Customer Service, Sales, or Administrative experience required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Administrative, organizational, planning and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Effective problem solving skills
• Time management skills to organize daily planning and monthly activities and meet deadlines
• Customer service skills to interact effectively with employees and outside customers
• Shift priorities quickly without losing attention to detail
