Buyer

We are seeking a Buyer to support purchasing activities within a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, components, supplies, and services needed to support day-to-day production and operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting while collaborating with vendors and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, components, MRO supplies, packaging, equipment, and other operational needs. Create and manage purchase orders from requisition through delivery. Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and deliveries to help ensure materials are available when needed. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor information within the ERP system. Assist with vendor setup and supplier evaluations. Support inventory management, replenishment, and inventory counts. Partner with production, operations, quality, engineering, finance, and Accounts Payable to resolve purchasing and invoice-related issues. Provide purchasing and receiving documentation to support invoice processing and three-way matching. Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, efficiency, and cost management. Assist with special projects and other purchasing-related initiatives as needed. Qualifications 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience , preferably within manufacturing. Experience purchasing raw materials, components, MRO supplies, or other manufacturing-related goods . Experience using an ERP system for purchasing; NetSuite or similar ERP experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience . Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and vendor relationship management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
