About the Role

Dinan & Company is seeking a Controller/Accounting Manager to join our headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. We will consider full-time or part-time applicants for this in-office position. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented professional to join our firm.

Dinan offers a competitive compensation package based on experience in a comfortable work environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Process bi-monthly payroll for 75-100 employees through Paychex, audit timesheets, including expense reimbursements
Accounts Payable—process invoices, cut checks
Accounts Receivable—invoice clients--50-100 invoices per month
Generate monthly financial statements
Reconcile bank accounts, post journal entries
Coordinate benefit renewals with insurance carriers
Taxes—work with CPA on quarterly and annual tax returns

Basic Qualifications:

Deep working knowledge of Intuit Enterprise Suite QuickBooks
5+ years Controller/Accounting Manager experience in a similar environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
Professional appearance and demeanor
