Commercial Roofing Sales Specialist
Persistent Roofing, LLC – San Antonio, TX Reports to: Carlos Ramirez, President & Norma Le Villafranca, Director of Operations
Position Summary
Persistent Roofing, LLC is seeking a motivated Commercial Roofing Sales Specialist with 2–4 years of experience in commercial construction . This role focuses on developing new business, managing client relationships, and supporting accurate, timely commercial roofing proposals. The ideal candidate understands construction drawings, communicates confidently with general contractors, and thrives in a fast‐paced commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue commercial roofing opportunities across Central & South Texas
- Build and maintain relationships with GCs, developers, and property managers
- Attend pre‐bid meetings, site walks, and client presentations
- Review plans, specifications, and project manuals to determine scope
- Collaborate with estimating to ensure accurate takeoffs and pricing
- Provide scope clarifications, alternates, and value‐engineering options
- Track bid schedules, follow‐ups, and award status
- Support project handoff between sales, estimating, and production teams
- Maintain accurate documentation for all bids and client communication
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of commercial construction experience (roofing preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- Proficiency with CRM tools and digital plan review platforms
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and coating systems
- Familiarity with Texas commercial construction standards
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
