Role Description
The Pool Sales Consultant is a full-time, onsite role primarily based in the San Antonio, Texas area, with regular travel to projects and clients in the Austin metropolitan area.
We are looking for an experienced professional in home construction sales to join our team. This role is responsible for meeting with prospective and existing clients, understanding their pool and outdoor living needs, and presenting customized design and pricing proposals. You will manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry through contract signing, including site visits, measurements, and coordination with design and construction teams.
Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, preparing quotes, following up on leads, maintaining accurate records in the CRM, and ensuring clients receive clear, timely communication. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to align customer expectations with project timelines and specifications, while consistently achieving sales targets and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
•  Proven experience in home construction sales (residential pools, remodeling, outdoor living, or related high-ticket home improvement projects strongly preferred).
•  Strong Sales Consulting skills, with a track record of successfully guiding clients through complex purchasing decisions in the construction/home improvement space.
•  Excellent Customer Service and relationship-building skills, focused on trust and long-term client satisfaction.
•  Outstanding Communication skills, including clear verbal presentations and professional written correspondence.
•  Ability to conduct on-site visits, interpret basic plans/blueprints, and collaborate effectively with design and construction teams.
•  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple leads, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
•  Comfort with CRM software and basic office applications for tracking leads and preparing proposals.
•  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for customer visits across the San Antonio and Austin areas.
