This role provides essential clerical and customer support that helps the Southcentral District Office carry out its public health mission. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:

• Call Handling: Answer calls, provide information, and direct inquiries using Department of Health procedures
• Clerical Support: Support staff during clinics, investigations, and community health events
• Record Maintenance: Maintain literature collections, bulletin boards, and health center materials
• Data Entry: Enter records into PIERS and prepare clinic activity reports with accuracy
• Supply Management: Coordinate inventory and order supplies to keep clinic operations running
• Emergency Response: Assist with essential functions or emergency duties during public health events

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Graduation from high school; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
