Medical Records Clerk

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk to join our team at IL River Correctional Center located in Canton, Illinois.The Medical Records Clerk maintains offender health records, retrieves health records for scheduled appointments, files offender health data, initiates records for new or transferred intakes. They review health records for completeness, files records as required, prepares reports as needed and more.Hourly pay rate of $22.77 Per hourIndmhmHigh School Diploma or Bachelor’s DegreeCertification by the American Health Information Management Association as a Registered Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred but not requiredPrior experience with medical records and servicesCompletion of a medical terminology course preferredMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLSAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkAvailable Shift: Day Shift; 7AM-3PM M-F; 40 hours per week.We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more... #J-18808-Ljbffr Centurion Health
