Project Engineer

Responsibilities General Responsibilities: Provide administrative and technical support to Project Managers, Superintendents and other field operations staff to achieve the effective, timely and profitable fulfillment of construction projects; maintain positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and other parties; support opportunities for future business; communicate and collaborate with management and staff within the Group and throughout the company; support and personally adhere to the M-K core values, safety culture and related policies and practices, as well as all company operating and regulatory compliance-focused policies and practices. Provide technical support to the project team Maintain project plans, drawings, and reports Attend weekly progress meetings and record minutes Maintain accurate records Create and manage submittals and RFI logs Provide project reports and reporting data Support closeout, warranty, and punch-out processes Support development of project schedules Administer change orders and review claims Provide owner/client communication Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Construction Management Computer Aptitude Technical Drawings Building Codes & Regulations Project Management Software App Quality Management Education/Experience A two-year degree in related field required, with a B.S. or B.A degree in a related field of study preferred; specific training and education focused on the construction project management discipline and processes helpful.
