Maintenance Technician - Electrician

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a highly skilled Maintenance Technician - Multi-Craft III in Canton, GA. In a Maintenance Technician - Multi-Craft III job you'll be responsible for: Performing complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify, diagnose, and repair machinery, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions in PLC controls, drive-controlled machine systems, and automated production networks. Executing routine preventative maintenance schedules across production machinery, electrical systems, and material transfer piping. Performing welding, custom metal fabrication, and mechanical repairs utilizing equipment manuals, technical drawings, and schematics. Carrying out general facility maintenance and repairs, including doors, building fixtures, drywall, and painting. Ordering required supplies, parts, and maintenance materials while maintaining precise tracking of in-stock inventory. What you'll need: At least 3 years of hands-on production maintenance technician experience. At least 3 years of experience working directly with 12-volt through 480-volt electrical circuits. At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing PLC systems, process controls, and drive-controlled equipment. High school diploma or equivalent required (vocational diploma or technical degree preferred). Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently (and up to 100 lbs occasionally). Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
