Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is over 3,300 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. We are all about the simple truth and doing what is right not what is easy. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS THE EVENTS ASSISTANTAs the Events Assistant, you will support the Director and department in administrative duties. This role is the backbone of ensuring the Director and the Department run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include managing private event billing, creating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), managing closet organization and inventory, invoice and credit card reconciliation, maintaining club event calendar, receiving and answering phone calls, and working with internal departments including Accounting, Culinary, Food & Beverage, and Communications. The Events Assistant will also assist in activity oversite for certain children's events including Easter Egg Hunts, Santa Parties, and Fashion Show. This is an administrative role that relies heavily on details and organization. This is a great stepping stone for anyone interested in learning Events and the Private Club Industry. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES, ESSENTIAL DUTIES & EXPECTATIONSUpdate, maintain, and shred Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)Manage and distribute the daily BEO changes and weekly function packetAttend weekly event team meetings and weekly BEO meetings with cross-functional teamsBook room reservations and manage cake ordersManage billing for all private eventsMaintain outlook event calendar and shared drive foldersLiaise with the Communications department to manage the department's Social Media calendarMaintain Event supplies and keep closets clean and organizedAssist with event preparation as needed by the DirectorWork events as needed by the DirectorProvide other administrative support as necessary QUALIFICATIONS (Experience, Competencies, Skills, Abilities, Education):Extremely detail-oriented and organizedEffective communicator and strong in developing relationshipsExcellent skills in prioritizing tasks, and time-managementAbility to work in a high paced, dynamic environment and work with a high sense of urgencyAbility to learn, comprehend, and effectively use software systems (ex.
