The Jack Herbst State Farm Agency is looking for an energetic, motivated, and outgoing individual to join our team as an Appointment Setter / Telemarketer!

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys talking to people, has a positive attitude, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone. Your primary responsibility will be reaching out to potential customers, generating interest in our insurance products, and scheduling appointments for our licensed sales team.

This position is in person only. There is WFH capabilities once you're fully trained. 

No insurance experience is necessary! We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, great communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective customers using provided lead lists.

• Schedule qualified appointments for our licensed insurance team.

• Introduce potential customers to our auto, home, life, and other insurance products.

• Follow up with prospects who have previously expressed interest.

• Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and appointments.

• Meet daily and weekly call and appointment goals.

• Represent our agency in a friendly, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and phone skills.

• Positive attitude and outgoing personality.

• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.

• Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Previous telemarketing, customer service, or sales experience is preferred but not required.

• Insurance experience is a plus but not necessary.
