Experienced Fine Dining Bartender About the Role

Blü Prime Steakhouse is a modern fine dining concept that combines premium steaks with globally inspired cuisine, exceptional hospitality, and an innovative beverage program. We are seeking an experienced Bartender who is passionate about craft cocktails, premium spirits, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences.

This is more than a bartending position. We are looking for a hospitality professional who understands that every cocktail tells a story, every ingredient matters, and every guest interaction contributes to an unforgettable dining experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced upscale environment, takes pride in precision and consistency, and has a genuine passion for food, wine, and cocktail culture.

Pay & Location:

• Starting Hourly Rate: $5.00/hr base wage plus daily tips
• Blu Prime Steakhouse, On-Site

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve craft cocktails, premium spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and attention to detail.
• Execute house cocktail recipes accurately while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and quality.
• Use fresh ingredients and proper techniques to deliver elevated beverage experiences, including house-made components.
• Provide thoughtful recommendations by engaging guests confidently and tailoring suggestions to preferences.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of spirits, cocktail styles, wine, beer, and current beverage trends.
• Educate guests on cocktail ingredients, preparation methods, flavor profiles, and pairing opportunities.
• Collaborate with chefs and management to support unique beverage experiences and seasonal offerings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked bar and adhere to all sanitation and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and maintaining beverage products.
• Serve efficiently during high-volume periods while upholding fine dining standards.
• Take food and beverage orders when working the bar top and provide full-service hospitality to guests.
• Support private events, tastings, wine dinners, and special restaurant experiences as needed.
• Follow all TABC regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in an upscale, craft cocktail, fine dining, luxury hotel, or high-end hospitality environment. 
• Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, premium spirits, and wine.
• Experience working with fresh juices, syrups, wines, and elevated beverage pairings.
• Strong understanding of flavor profiles, cocktail balance, and beverage presentation. 
• Ability to confidently recommend premium spirits, wines, and elevated beverage pairings. 
• Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude.
• Desire to continuously learn and grow within a chef-driven hospitality environment. 

Requirements:

• Fine dining experience preferred; advanced wine knowledge and wine service/food pairing experience (Preferred).
• Experience using Aloha, or similar POS systems (Preferred).
• Spanish and English bilingual (Preferred).
• TABC Certification (Required).
• Texas Food Handler Certification (Required).

Scheduling:

• Evening and Night Shifts scheduled between 3:00PM-12:00AM).
• Closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Fridays, Saturdays and Holidays are Required.
• Sundays Off.
