Principal In Charge - Architect Location: Denton, TX, USA (weekly hybrid opening) Salary: $100K - $140K base (salary depends on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Architect/Project Manager to lead and oversee architectural projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial architecture and the ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring design excellence and compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural design projects from concept through to completion. Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices. Develop project budgets, schedules, and detailed work plans. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress. Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, and presentations using software such as Revit and AutoCAD. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and adherence to design specifications. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field. 7+ years of relevant experience. Licensed Architect with relevant certifications. Proven experience in commercial architecture with a strong portfolio. Project management experience with a PMP certification preferred. Proficiency in design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Knowledge of LEED and sustainable design practices is a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
