Job Title: Paraprofessional
Pay Rate: $22–$26/hour (Based on expereince)
Schedule: 30 Hours/Week
Days: Monday–Friday
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: End of the Current School Year (with potential for renewal)
Work Setting: Onsite
Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking multiple dedicated Paraprofessionals to join a supportive school district team. We have 10+ openings available in both Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and Moderate/Severe classroom settings across multiple school sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate professionals who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs while working alongside teachers and educational staff in a collaborative school environment.
Additional opportunities are also available for candidates interested in Speech Aide and Transportation Aide positions.
Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support to students under the direction of the classroom teacher and special education staff
Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
Support students in RSP or Moderate/Severe special education settings
Help implement classroom accommodations and behavior support plans
Assist with instructional activities and small-group learning
Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school personnel to support student success
Perform other duties as assigned by school administration
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher OR ability to pass the Paraprofessional Exam within 60 days of the start date
Previous experience working with children or students with special needs preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Passion for supporting student growth and success
