Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Onsite – School Setting
Provide individual and group therapy sessions as outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
Target foundational skills including handwriting, scissor skills, visual-motor integration, and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) like zipping coats or opening lunch containers.
Implement "sensory diets" and classroom movement breaks to help students maintain a "ready-to-learn" state.
Partner with classroom teachers to suggest environmental modifications (e.g., Maintain accurate, timely logs of services provided and collect data on student goals for quarterly progress reports.
Schedule / Shift:
Shift details: Contract length: Valid NH State License/Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), sensory processing disorders, and assistive technology.
