E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Content Editor to join our team in JBAB, DC in support of the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office (DRI). DRI's mission is to catalog and analyze military and civilian infrastructure and defense-related resources that underpin a nation's or group's military capabilities-including transportation, logistics, defense economics, energy systems, arms trade, physical vulnerability to weapon effects, defense industries, and the operational environment-to support U.S. and allied planners, targeteers, warfighters, policymakers, partners, and acquisition official. Job Responsibilities: Analyze and evaluate products through technical editorial support and ensure administrative and production on requirements associated with military capabilities, capacity, readiness, military policy, strategy and doctrine and their operating environments are met. Read and evaluate intelligence products and ensure defense tradecraft standards are met. Look for inconsistencies of thought, development, or organization. Confer with authors to recommend treatment of material. Perform reorganization, cut, or rewrite, as necessary, and edit copy. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with editing and written document production 3+ years of experience with intelligence production Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience with defense tradecraft standards Knowledge of foundational military intelligence and military capabilities Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Area Studies, or Communications The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
