Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, provide nursing care and treatments to patients, administer medications, and monitor vital signs. Provide general nursing care, nursing procedures, and referrals, to ensure optimal patient care as appropriate to LPN licensure in the State of Minnesota, under supervision of the Registered Nurse. Participate in gate keeping responsibilities for medical issues, under supervision of the Registered Nurse. Participate in conflict resolution pertaining to health issues, under supervision of the Registered Nurse. Provide assistance to patients/customers/staff as directed by the Registered Nurse, to result in timely delivery of services. Continually seek and maintain knowledge necessary to facilitate optimal patient care and comfort. Maintain Unit order to result in optimal efficiency in delivery of services. This role is for 8 hour shifts. Qualifications Required Qualifications Vocational or technical training (MN LPN licensure) One year experience in acute care setting Must be 18 years of age or older Current CPR/AED certification Certification must be from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association MN LPN license and current registration Overview The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is the largest nonprofit addiction recovery organization in the United States.
