Contract | Days | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work a contract assignment with a 6-month duration
• Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down unit
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring equipment and rhythm interpretation
• ACLS certification
