Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Control in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a front desk location within a financial institution, where you will welcome visitors, manage access and badges, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. In this highly visible role, you will help create a strong first impression through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a reliable and customer-focused environment.

Day Time Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access permissions, and direct employees, guests, and vendors according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain detailed front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Support access control operations by helping to deter unauthorized entry, observing lobby and reception areas, and following established escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
