Job Description

Pay Rate- $17-$20 Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:45-5:00 with a 1-hour lunch Address: 5201 Frederick Street Savannah, GA 31405

Insight Global is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a healthcare team supporting day-to-day patient care and clinical operations. This individual will work closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure patients receive a smooth, efficient experience throughout their visit. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities: • Complete patient intake and prepare patients for their appointments • Obtain and document patient information and vital signs • Prepare exam rooms and ensure rooms remain ready and available for physicians • Support physicians and clinical staff with day-to-day patient care needs • Send cultures, orders, and other clinical information as directed • Accurately document patient information within the electronic health record • Assist with coordinating and scheduling patient appointments as needed • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked exam rooms • Help support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic • Follow established patient privacy, safety, and infection-control procedures

Skills and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Up to one year of previous experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting • Comfortable with patient intake and back-office clinical responsibilities • Medical Assistant certification • Experience with Athena/Athenahealth
