Why is this role so important with us?

As a Support Specialist for Financial Management and Accounting, you position yourself as a business and platform expert. You are the main contact for our client base that has chosen Pennylane as the central software for their accounting and financial management.

You are therefore at the heart of the 360-degree customer experience and make the clients and their accountants benefit from the full power of Pennylane in the service of their growth.

How will you contribute to the project?

As a member of the Application Support and Technical Accounting team, you are the central relay between our clients, their internal accountants and the Accounting Firms. You are in daily contact with the users and seek to understand the problems they encounter.

After investigation, your goal is to provide a response or solution to your interlocutor, or when necessary, escalate the problem to the technical teams. You are also responsible for helping company accountants and firms to integrate their data on Pennylane to facilitate their migration.

What will be your daily missions?

First 3 months:

- You join the Pennylane Academy and train on the product and the team's workings.

- You learn everything there is to know about our company, our vision, and our different departments.

- You learn to identify all stakeholders and collaborate effectively within your team, as well as with the different departments.

- You start answering accounting-related requests: you receive the requests, qualify them based on a deep understanding of accounting principles and provide quick and impactful responses.

4 to 6 months:

- You gain autonomy and take full control by ensuring a good follow-up of the requests until the complete resolution of the tickets to guarantee user satisfaction.

- You start managing increasingly complex client requests.

- You contribute to the creation and updating of customer support materials to develop their autonomy.

- You share with your colleagues your accounting knowledge and "on the ground" experience.

- You carry the voice of the client's usage and share constructive feedback with the product teams.

And then...

- You become a product expert and make your team more efficient by identifying areas for improvement.

- You take control and lead to success the projects that matter to you and make you grow.

In the future, you will have opportunities to evolve towards solving more complex issues in the support team, but also towards other teams such as account managers or implementation managers for our clients.

Required skills

- Accounting training (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA or Bachelor Responsable admin and comptable).

- Experience of at least 3 years in an accounting firm (ideally having done at least three fiscal periods).

- Direct work with the director is a plus (internal advice for example).

- Affinity for innovative work tools and new technologies.

- Autonomy, ability to solve problems alone and find solutions.

- Knowledge of the Pennylane tool is a plus.

- Professional level in English.

- Writing skills and pedagogical ability to interact with users in a clear and professional manner.

- Ability to understand and respond to client needs, offer excellent service and maintain good client relationships.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Flexibility to adapt to the rapid evolutions of the tool.

- Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with product developments.
