INSURANCE SALES TRAINEE

Jessica Alvarez - State Farm Agency in Plantation, FL is seeking a motivated Insurance Sales Trainee to join our team. This is an in-office position for a relationship-focused professional who enjoys helping customers, building connections, and working toward personal and financial goals.

We are looking for candidates with experience in insurance sales, banking, financial services, hospitality, luxury retail, high-end restaurant service, or other professional sales environments. We are looking for the right candidate who is motivated to obtain their licenses and build a career.

Responsibilities

• Develop insurance quotes and present coverage options to customers.
• Build relationships with new and existing clients.
• Follow up with leads and customer inquiries.
• Prospect for new business through networking, referrals, and outbound activity.
• Schedule appointments and assist customers with insurance needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the customer relationship.
• Identify opportunities for additional insurance and financial service products.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be able to obtain a Florida Property & Casualty License.
• Must be able to obtain a Florida Life & Health License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time in our Plantation, FL office.

Preferred :

• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license.
• 15 years of insurance sales or customer service experience.
• Banking, financial services, hospitality, luxury retail, or restaurant sales/service experience.
• Experience working in a goal-driven environment.
