12-hour day shifts, with every other weekend required. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Detox Unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients aged 18 and older who are undergoing detoxification. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to assess and manage the detox symptoms of patients while ensuring their safety and comfort during their stay. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of detox symptoms. Monitor vital signs and administer medications as required. Perform phlebotomy and obtain EKGs as needed. Collaborate with the nursing team and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care. Participate in safety checks, room checks, and rounding every 15 minutes. Assist in patient activities of daily living (ADLs). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS is preferred for floating. De-escalation training certification (e.g., Handle with Care, CPI, or similar) required before starting. Experience in MedSurg nursing is essential; prior psych experience is preferred.
