What You Can Expect The Surgery Coordinator role is distribution center based and is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of instruments and implants needed for surgery. Responsibilities include warehouse picking, organizing, and optimization and the safe and timely transportation of inventory between warehouse and medical facilities and/or locations specified. How You\'ll Create Impact Daily use of inventory management systems including SMS, DCS, FedEx programs to monitor/act on the case schedule, source, pick, box, label, loan, receive, ship, issue and monitor inventory. Performs quality checks on outgoing product to ensure customers receive 100% quality product and performs incoming quality checks on all inventory. Safe/accurate delivery/retrieval of inventory including restock and emergency runs to the appropriate facility This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and might not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions for purposes of the Americans with Disabilities Act. What Makes You Stand Out Organizational and time management skills are essential Ability to deliver operational results based on targets set by leadership. Suggests improvement opportunities aligned with Lean targets and participate in improvement activities. Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse best practices (turns, importance of labeling and system usage/adherence.). Participation in departmental 24 hour emergency “on-call” service is a requirement of this position. Required to work some holidays. Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with cross functional sales and operation teams. Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office suite and distribution systems. Your Background Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Engineering or other technical field preferred.
