In this access control role, you will help to deter security‑related incidents through visibility, communication, and attention to detail while delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign‑in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking doors, gates, lobbies, and other access points for security‑related concerns. Support daily operations by reporting unusual activity, assisting with badge or credential issues, and following Allied Universal protocols for security‑related matters. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
