The team treats a wide range of conditions, including bone and joint infections, complicated UTIs, MRSA, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C, tropical diseases, meningitis, pneumonia, tick-borne illnesses, and non-healing wounds. Specialty services include an office-based infusion center, comprehensive wound care, travel medicine, and immunizations, all delivered within an ACHC-accredited practice focused on quality and patient safety. Patients have access to most major insurance plans and a convenient online portal, and the care team is committed to treating every patient as a person, not a chart. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Billing Specialist role based in Roswell, GA. The Billing Specialist will manage the end-to-end billing cycle, including verifying patient information, capturing charges, preparing claims, and ensuring accurate and timely submission to insurance providers and other payers. Responsibilities include posting payments and adjustments, reconciling accounts, following up on unpaid or denied claims, and working appeals to resolution. The role will involve generating patient statements, handling billing-related inquiries, and providing clear, professional communication to patients, payers, and internal team members. The Billing Specialist will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff to maintain accurate documentation, support compliance with regulatory and payer requirements, and contribute to efficient revenue cycle operations. Qualifications Strong billing and revenue cycle skills, including Billing Process and Client Billing. Clear understanding of denial resolution, generating appeals and follow-up Clear, professional Communication skills for interacting with patients, payers, and internal teams. Experience with medical billing, insurance verification, and claims follow-up in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with EHR and practice management systems, and ability to learn new software quickly. High attention to detail, accuracy with numerical data, and strong organizational skills. Ability to work on-site full time in Roswell, GA, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
