General Manager In Training

The GMIT role is designed to prepare candidates for full General Manager responsibilities. This position involves hands‑on leadership, operational management, and team development while ensuring high‑quality customer service and efficient business operations. Primary Responsibilities: Operational Management – Oversee daily store operations, inventory management, and financial performance. Team Leadership & Training – Mentor employees, conduct training sessions, and foster a positive work culture. Customer Service & Brand Standards – Ensure excellent guest experiences and maintain brand expectations. Administrative Duties – Process payroll, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with store policies. Supply Chain Oversight – Support inventory tracking, vendor management, and ordering processes. Secondary Responsibilities: Assist with local promotions, social media efforts, and partnership events. Address employee concerns, manage customer issues, and provide solutions. Uphold cleanliness, food safety regulations, and workplace safety standards. Identify areas for efficiency and suggest operational enhancements. Physical Requirements: This position requires a combination of physical tasks to perform duties effectively, including: Standing & Walking (50%) – On feet for extended periods during shifts . Lifting & Carrying (20%) – Regularly lifting items up to 25 lbs, including inventory and supplies. Bending & Reaching (15%) – Stocking shelves, cleaning areas, and accessing low/high storage spaces. Manual Dexterity (10%) – Operating coffee machines, registers, and preparing food/beverages. Exposure to Heat & Noise (5%) – Working near ovens, espresso machines, and in a bustling environment.
