What You’ll Do

As a Loan Officer , your primary focus will be generating mortgage business, developing strong referral relationships, and guiding clients through the loan process.

Generate New Business

• Proactively source and convert new mortgage opportunities.
• Build relationships with Realtors, real estate investors, builders, design-build companies, and other referral partners.
• Prospect consistently and identify new opportunities to grow loan volume.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of borrowers and referral sources.

Build Relationships That Drive Growth

• Establish long-term relationships with real estate professionals and community partners.
• Nurture referral partnerships that generate recurring business.
• Maintain relationships with past clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Represent Empire Finest Group professionally throughout the Miami market.

Structure the Right Solutions

• Understand client needs and recommend appropriate mortgage solutions.
• Work with products including Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Non-QM loans.
• Partner with Operations, Underwriting, and Processing teams to help structure and move loans forward.
• Guide clients from initial qualification through closing while delivering an exceptional experience.

Own Your Pipeline

• Manage your book of business using CRM tools and disciplined follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and loan opportunities.
• Track pipeline activity and take ownership of your business development efforts.
• Manage your time and priorities independently to maximize results.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license preferred, or the ability and strong commitment to obtain one quickly.
• Previous experience as a Loan Officer, Mortgage Loan Originator, Mortgage Banker , or in a related mortgage lending role is preferred.
• Knowledge of mortgage products, including Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Non-QM loans.
• Understanding of mortgage underwriting and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience generating leads and developing referral partnerships.
• Strong outside sales, business development, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM or pipeline management systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business technology.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
