Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  1. Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
  2. Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Restaurant Outlets to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  3. Clearly describe, assign and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of the various food and beverage sub-departments, e.g. room service, restaurants, banquets, kitchens, steward, etc.
  4. Develop, implement and monitor schedules for the operation of all food and beverage outlets to achieve a profitable result.
  5. Participate with Executive Chef in the creation of menus designed to attract a predetermined customer market.
  6. Implement effective control of food, beverage and labor costs among all sub-departments to Crescent standards.
  7. Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
  8. Regularly review and evaluate the degree of guest satisfaction of the individual restaurants to recommend new operating and marketing policies whenever declining or constant sales imply dissatisfaction by the customers, a material change in the make-up or the customer market, or a change in the competitive environment.
  9. Develop operating tools necessary and incidental to modern management principles, e.g. signage, marketing labels, etc.
  10. Continuously evaluate the performance and encourage improvement of the associates in the food and beverage department. Plan and administer a training and development program within the department which will provide well trained associate at all levels.
  11. Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff and fellow managers.
  12. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  13. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Previous management experience in a high-volume Food & Beverage environment; hotel experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing multiple outlets or venues.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with alcoholic beverage operations, including ordering, inventory management, and cost controls.
  • Experience maintaining and delivering high service standards, with the ability to coach, train, and continuously improve team performance.
  • Availability to work both AM and PM shifts based on business needs.
  • Previous experience planning and executing promotions and special events.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue through creative initiatives, strategic thinking, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Willingness to work holidays and adjust schedules based on operational needs.
  • Experience leading and developing teams of up to 20 associates.
  • A hands-on, visible leadership style, with a strong presence on the floor and a commitment to supporting both guests and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel Food & Beverage management experience.
  • Experience with MICROS/POS systems.

Required :

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Always maintain a professional appearance and manner. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers

with their job duties and be a team player. Considerable skill in complex mathematical calculations without error. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Ability to move throughout all food and beverage areas and hospitality suites and continuously perform essential job functions. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. Ability to observe and distinguish product quality by smell, taste, and appearance.

FUNCIONES ESENCIALES DEL PUESTO :

  10. Evaluar continuamente el desempeño y alentar la mejora de los asociados en el departamento de alimentos y bebidas. Planificar y administrar un programa de capacitación y desarrollo dentro del departamento que proporcionará asociados bien capacitados en todos los niveles.

  • Capacidad demostrada para impulsar ingresos a través de iniciativas creativas, pensamiento estratégico y resolución proactiva de problemas.
  • Disposición a trabajar en días festivos y ajustar horarios según las necesidades operativas.
  • Experiencia liderando y desarrollando equipos de hasta 20 asociados.

FONCTIONS ESSENTIELLES DE L'EMPLOI :

  1. Mener des entretiens, embaucher, former, recommander des évaluations de performance, résoudre les problèmes, assurer une communication ouverte et recommander une discipline et/ou un licenciement le cas échéant.
  2. Planifier et diriger les fonctions d'administration et de planification des restaurants pour répondre aux besoins quotidiens de l'exploitation.
  3. Décrire clairement, assigner et déléguer la responsabilité et l'autorité pour l'exploitation des différents sous-départements de restauration et de boissons, par exemple le service aux chambres, les restaurants, les banquets, les cuisines, l'intendance, etc.
  4. Développer, mettre en œuvre et surveiller les horaires d'exploitation de tous les restaurants et bars pour obtenir un résultat rentable.
  5. Participer avec le chef exécutif à la création de menus conçus pour attirer un marché de clientèle prédéterminé.
  6. Mettre en œuvre un contrôle efficace des coûts alimentaires, de boissons et de main-d'œuvre dans tous les sous-départements selon les normes Crescent.
  7. Respecter toutes les exigences fédérales, nationales et d'entreprise relatives à la vente de boissons alcoolisées.
  8. Examiner et évaluer régulièrement le degré de satisfaction des clients de chaque restaurant pour recommander de nouvelles politiques d'exploitation et de marketing chaque fois que les ventes déclinantes ou stables impliquent une insatisfaction des clients, un changement matériel dans la composition du marché de la clientèle, ou un changement dans l'environnement concurrentiel.
  9. Développer les outils d'exploitation nécessaires et accessoires aux principes modernes de gestion, par exemple la signalisation, les étiquettes de marketing, etc.
  10. Évaluer continuellement la performance et encourager l'amélioration des associés du département de restauration et de boissons. Planifier et administrer un programme de formation et de développement au sein du département qui fournira des associés bien formés à tous les niveaux.
  11. Communiquer verbalement et par écrit pour fournir des directives claires au personnel et aux autres gestionnaires.
  12. Respecter les règles de présence et être disponible pour travailler régulièrement.

Qualifications essentielles :

  • Expérience de gestion antérieure dans un environnement de restauration et de boissons à haut volume ; l'expérience hôtelière est préférée.

  • Connaissance approfondie et expérience pratique des opérations de boissons alcoolisées, y compris la commande, la gestion des stocks et les contrôles de coûts.
  • Expérience dans le maintien et la prestation de normes de service élevées, avec la capacité de former, d'entraîner et d'améliorer continuellement la performance de l'équipe.
  • Disponibilité pour travailler les quarts de jour et de soir selon les besoins opérationnels.
  • Expérience antérieure dans la planification et l'exécution de promotions et d'événements spéciaux.
  • Capacité démontrée à générer des revenus par des initiatives créatives, une réflexion stratégique et une résolution proactive des problèmes.

Capacité à observer et à distinguer la qualité des produits par l'odorat, le goût et l'apparence.

La sécurité et la sûreté de nos clients et associés sont d'une importance capitale pour Crescent. Chaque associé de Crescent doit adhérer aux politiques et procédures de sécurité de l'hôtel, en particulier concernant le contrôle des clés, le levage d'objets lourds, l'utilisation de produits chimiques et la signalisation efficace des risques et préoccupations en matière de sécurité.
