About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Global Medical Affairs with a focus on solid tumor oncology. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the global medical affairs strategy for the oncology portfolio, with a key role in preparing for future commercialization. This leadership position requires a professional with a strong background in solid tumor oncology, including U.S. product launch experience, and a proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with oncology KOLs. Experience in supporting biomarker-driven therapies is essential, and a background in gynecologic oncology is strongly preferred. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and demands a strategic approach to medical and scientific leadership across the product lifecycle. Applicants for the Head of Global Medical Affairs position at the company should hold an MD, PhD, or PharmD and have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 5 years' in oncology medical affairs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of oncology drug development and the ability to work effectively with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include leading the medical affairs team, managing the medical affairs budget, and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. The role also requires the ability to monitor the competitive landscape, represent the organization at external events, and develop scientific engagement strategies.
