Controller
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pathway Talent Partners is partnering with a well-established industrial company to identify a Controller who will oversee accounting, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial operations. This individual will partner closely with leadership, supporting a multi-location organization with a strong reputation, long-term stability, and a commitment to operational excellence.
The Controller will provide hands-on leadership across accounting functions, financial analysis, budgeting, and internal controls while helping drive continued growth and process improvement within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee general accounting operations and financial reporting activities
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial results
- Manage key reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Assist with cash forecasting and day-to-day treasury activities
- Develop reporting and analysis to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and operational initiatives
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements
- Support payroll administration and related accounting functions
- Participate in audit preparation and other strategic finance projects
- Contribute to the continued enhancement of internal controls and financial processes
Minimum of 7+ years' experience in either public accounting or corporate controller role.
- ERP System experience preferred.
Strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, and cost accounting.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
- Strong communicator, problem-solver, critical thinker.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
