Vice President, Global Analytics & Insights

Job Summary

The Vice President of Global Analytics and Insights at the LEGO Group is a senior leadership role responsible for leading all Analytics and Insights teams across the commercial organisation. This individual harnesses data and insights to drive business growth, optimise performance and inform strategic decisions by advancing the integration of data science into the business. The role orchestrates global teams, reduces overlaps and unlocks new capabilities across the organisation, leading a transformational journey that delivers measurable commercial impact through data.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large and diverse team of functional experts and create a common vision and priorities.
• Lead the transformation of the A&I organization to enhance commercial strategies through data‑driven insights, positioning the business for growth.
• Build one global team of A&I expertise, inspiring career opportunities and infusing digital expertise into the business.
• Unify and advance functional capability building programs to further elevate A&I talent development.
• Elevate commercial insights to drive consumer sales and revenue growth through strategic data‑driven decisions.
• Ensure global adoption of data‑driven approaches, generate stronger business insights through analytics, information visualisation and proactive problem‑solving.
• Communicate subject matter to various stakeholders companywide.
• Explore future ways of working with an advanced analytic approach and generate long‑term data insights informing strategic commercial choices.
• Align analytics processes with commercial objectives, drive actionable business outcomes, and eliminate data and process silos.
• Standardise and elevate analytical tools (including AI) to deliver better and more timely insights while maximising efficiency.
• Define ways of working within Global Commercial Development and across the Data Office, Global Insights team, BSO and other global teams, aligning the operating model and service level agreement.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership track record in driving transformational agendas and creating followership throughout the organisation.
• Experience in a global analytics and insights leadership role.
• Track record of inspiring teams to translate commercial data into actionable insights that deliver business impact.
• Experience in consumer goods companies or similar; familiarity with both B2B and D2C is preferable.
• Strong experience in data management, analytical analysis and driving insights.
• Experience in navigating change and leading global teams through transformation.
• Strong leadership, project management and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead and develop global teams; experience with larger teams is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with augmented analytics to analyse large volumes of data quickly and predict future events more accurately.
• Experience building and testing predictive models within a sales organisation.
• Willingness to speak up and challenge the status quo.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $333,638.00 - $500,456.00, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organisational constraints.
