Primary Responsibilities:In the role of Senior Project Manager Engineering, we'll count on you to:Support the development and implementation of strategies/initiatives for municipal water/wastewater clients.Be client facing as this role will be a key conduit between the client and HDR design teams.Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.Actively participate in industry associations, ideally in a role to support such organizations (e.g., California Water Environment Association).Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of small to large multidiscipline projects with a high degree of technical complexity. The larger projects are typically in excess of $5 million and involve a large project staff.Supervise large project staffs and act as a mentor for less-experienced engineers and project managers.Produce and coordinate several projects concurrentlyConduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplinesCoordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on scheduleWork with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews.Implement QA/QC procedures.Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans.Maintain professional engineering registration.Perform other duties as needed.Preferred:Master's DegreePMP Certification*LI-MO1QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering 10 years related experience A minimum 5 years project management experience Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
