Food & Beverage Attendant

The Hotel ATL is looking for a Food & Beverage Attendant! The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for delivering friendly, professional, and efficient food and beverage service to hotel guests across the restaurant, bar, and banquet operations. This position provides support wherever needed within the Food & Beverage department, including guest service, table service, banquet functions, restaurant and bar setup, clearing and resetting tables, stocking supplies, and maintaining clean and organized service areas.

The successful candidate will be guest-focused, dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment. Flexibility is essential, as the Food & Beverage Attendant may be scheduled in different outlets and assigned to support various hotel events and functions based on operational needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide warm, courteous, and professional service to hotel guests, meeting established hotel service standards.
• Assist with food and beverage service in the hotel restaurant, bar, and banquet facilities.
• Greet and acknowledge guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist servers and bartenders with service as needed.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests accurately and promptly.
• Clear and reset tables throughout service while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Set up restaurant, bar, and banquet areas according to established hotel standards.
• Assist with banquet functions, including room setup, table settings, buffet setup, food and beverage service, clearing, and event breakdown.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service stations.
• Replenish glassware, dishes, silverware, napkins, beverages, and other supplies as needed.
• Assist with buffet replenishment and presentation during banquet events.
• Support bartenders with bar setup, stocking, clearing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for restaurant, bar, and banquet operations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and communicate special needs to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel Food & Beverage offerings, menus, services, and daily events.
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including food safety, sanitation, health, safety, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
• Work closely with the kitchen, restaurant, bar, banquet, front desk, and other hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Assist with special events, meetings, weddings, conferences, and other hotel functions as required.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, bar, catering, or banquet environment is preferred.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an advantage.
• Ability to provide excellent guest service in a professional hotel environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.
• Must be available to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and established service standards.
• Food safety and responsible alcohol service certification may be required depending on local regulations and job duties.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift as required.
• Ability to safely carry food trays, dishes, glassware, beverages, and service supplies.
• Ability to lift and carry banquet and service equipment within the requirements of the position.
• Ability to work in a busy environment for extended periods.

Working Conditions

The Food & Beverage Attendant works in a dynamic hotel environment and may be assigned to the restaurant, bar, banquet spaces, or other Food & Beverage areas. The position requires flexibility to work different shifts and schedules based on hotel occupancy, restaurant operations, meetings, conferences, weddings, and other events.
