Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – School Location: Pearland, TX | Start Date: 8/10/2026 | Shifts: 7.5 D | Pay Rate: $1672.00 - $1723.00 Job Description AMN Healthcare is partnering with Pearland ISD to find a full‑time bilingual SLPA to assist the Speech Language Pathologist by conducting assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify communication disorders in students. The SLPA will implement speech, language, and hearing interventions and support the educational and social development of children. The assignment will cover two elementary schools, each with an onsite SLP and a dedicated therapy room. Responsibilities Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for communication disorders in students. Implement speech, language, and hearing interventions. Support students’ educational and social development. Provide direct services to Spanish‑speaking students. Maintain therapy rooms and collaborate with SLPs. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Speech/Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent. Active SLPA license or alternate credential required by Texas. Bilingual in Spanish. New graduates accepted. One reference in entire work history. Preferred Qualifications ASHA SLPA Certification (C‑SLPA). Experience with schools, early childhood, or pediatrics.
