Human Resources Manager

East Trailers LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the day-to-day Human Resources function at our Randolph, Ohio manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for HR operations, recruiting and workforce planning, benefits and leave administration, talent development, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, partnering closely with employees and leaders at all levels, and balancing day-to-day HR needs with longer-term workforce priorities. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day HR operations and provide leadership and direction to the HR team. Oversee recruiting, job postings, interviews, offers, pre-employment processes, onboarding, and workforce planning. Maintain accurate headcount and workforce reporting and partner with leaders to address staffing needs. Oversee benefits administration, open enrollment, employee benefit questions, and communications. Administer employee leaves, including FMLA, disability, personal leave, and return-to-work coordination. Support compensation administration, market reviews, salary changes, and related processes. Lead performance management, goal setting, development planning, succession discussions, and general leadership development. Ensure HR practices, policies, records, and documentation comply with applicable employment laws and company requirements. Lead employee engagement programs, surveys, recognition efforts, and company-sponsored activities. Partner with leadership to identify workforce and talent needs and develop practical solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with broad generalist responsibility. Demonstrated experience in recruiting, benefits, leave administration, performance management, and HR operations. Experience leading HR staff and cross-functional HR processes. Manufacturing, industrial, automotive, transportation, or similar operational experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage and hour requirements, and other applicable employment laws. Strong leadership, communication, organization, judgment, and follow-through. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar professional certification preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr East Trailers LLC
