Assistant Girls Soccer Coach

Winter Season 2026-27 (December - February) Stipend of $3,300 Position is not benefit eligible Job Summary Skyridge Middle School is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and inspirational assistant coach for our Girls Soccer program. We are not just looking for tactical coaches; we are looking for program-builders who understand that middle school athletics serve as a critical foundation for student‑growth, character development, and school culture. Duties Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of the team. Conduct regular practices, ensuring that all athletes receive appropriate instruction and feedback. Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect. Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills. Manage behavior effectively during practices and competitions, employing behavior management techniques as necessary. Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and expectations. Organize competitions and events, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently. Stay current with trends in sports coaching, physical education, and safety protocols. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a comprehensive athletic program. Experience Previous experience coaching soccer. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to educate and motivate athletes of all ages. First Aid/CPR card required or obtained upon hire.
