Job Summary
The position of Registered Nurse Outpatient Medical Surgical Oncology (MS ONC) is based in Westlake Village, California. The role involves providing specialized outpatient oncology care on a dedicated oncology floor. Candidates are required to bring their California Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day. This position entails working primarily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California RN License, minimum 2-3 years of outpatient oncology experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, Chemo (Oncology Certified Nurse/Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation), OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification, experience using Epic electronic medical record system, prior outpatient oncology experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing ports, administering chemotherapy, handling coagulation factors, and caring for patients with various cancers such as breast, brain, liver, lung, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and others; experience with central line/implanted line care, infusion pump management, and outpatient chemotherapy procedures
• Certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), OCN, ONS/ONCC certification preferred
• Additional Information: This role is suitable for first-time travelers. No weekend or call requirements. Certifications and modules are to be completed pre-start via Certificate of Completion. All modules are non-billable, averaging 1-2 hours each, and recorded accordingly.
