Position Description
Join CGI and contribute to the consistent, accurate, and efficient execution of business operations across a multi-client portfolio. As an Operations Analyst – Audit, you will support operational auditing, quality assurance, process compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement activities. In this role, you will work closely with Cloud Operations, Delivery, Finance, Business Operations, and other stakeholders to review operational activity, validate documentation, identify exceptions, and help ensure established processes and controls are consistently followed. You will also support recurring operational activities such as maintaining trackers and records, preparing status and performance reports, coordinating follow-ups, resolving data and process issues, and documenting procedures. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data and documentation, and motivated to improve processes and maintain operational accuracy.

Location & Work Model : This position can be performed from an CGI U.S. office and follow a hybrid schedule of 2–3 days onsite per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Perform recurring audits and quality reviews of operational transactions, records, and deliverables against documented procedures, requirements, and internal controls.
• Review supporting documentation and process evidence for accuracy, completeness, required approvals, and timely execution.
• Document audit findings and exceptions, maintain audit logs and supporting evidence, and track corrective actions through resolution.
• Identify recurring issues, process breakdowns, and control gaps; summarize trends and escalate material concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
• Support recurring operational activities including data maintenance, status tracking, document management, workflow coordination, and follow-up activities.
• Maintain organized records and trackers to provide visibility into work status, open items, ownership, and next steps.
• Partner with Business Operations, Delivery, Finance, Cloud Operations, and other teams to resolve exceptions, obtain missing information, and address process issues.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures, checklists, process documentation, control logs, and other operational reference materials.
• Validate that required approvals, supporting documentation, and process steps are consistently completed and retained.
• Support internal reviews, compliance readiness activities, and remediation efforts by gathering evidence and tracking follow-up actions.
• Maintain recurring operational reports, KPI trackers, audit summaries, and dashboards using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Analyze operational data to identify anomalies, trends, reconciliation differences, and areas requiring additional review.
• Extract and validate information from systems such as PeopleSoft (PSA) and other operational or reporting tools.
• Help improve reporting accuracy, data quality, and consistency across operational processes.
• Use audit findings, operational data, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve workflows.
• Support automation efforts and enhancements to templates, trackers, reporting tools, and recurring operational processes.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc operational analysis as business needs arise.
• Provide timely and accurate updates and supporting information to help stakeholders make informed operational decisions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Audit, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in business operations, auditing, compliance, quality assurance, process controls, or a related area; internships may be considered.
• Experience performing audits, quality reviews, reconciliations, control checks, or other detailed validation activities, with the ability to clearly document results.
• Ability to interpret and consistently apply standard operating procedures, policies, process requirements, and control expectations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, PivotTables, and data analysis functions, with the ability to work accurately with detailed datasets.
• Ability to quickly learn recurring operational processes and independently execute assigned responsibilities following structured training.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, documentation quality, completeness, and consistency.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills, including the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify potential root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, track open items through completion, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and clearly document findings, issues, and follow-up actions.
Desired qualifications
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting and dashboard tools.
• Exposure to PeopleSoft (PSA) or other enterprise business systems.
• Experience with process improvement, automation, or operational reporting.
• Exposure to internal controls, compliance, audit, or quality assurance processes.

The determination of this range includes various factors, including skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $46,400.00 - $93,600.00.
