AP Specialist

LHH is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a 3-month contract opportunity in Dallas, TX, paying up to $24.00 per hour. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounts payable experience and be comfortable working in a highly manual, high-volume AP environment. This role will process approximately 150 invoices per week and will focus heavily on invoice indexing, data entry, routing invoices through DocuSign for approvals, and payment processing. Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities

• Process approximately 150 invoices per week in a primarily manual AP environment.
  
• Index and enter invoices accurately into the accounting system.
  
• Route invoices through DocuSign for appropriate approvals and follow up as needed.
  
• Add and maintain vendor records.
  
• Process vendor payments, including ACH, vendor portal payments, and checks.
  
• Prepare and issue payments through Frost Bank.
  
• Receive, verify, process, and reconcile invoices and supporting documentation.
  
• Code expenses to the appropriate accounts and cost centers.
  
• Research and resolve invoice, purchase order, contract, and payment discrepancies.
  
• Reconcile vendor accounts and monthly statements.
  
• Monitor outstanding credits and ensure appropriate credits are received.
  
• Maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation.
  
• Process employee expense reports and related payment requests.
  
• Assist with stop-payments and purchase order amendments as needed.
  
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  
• Assist with AP process improvements and other accounting duties as needed.
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience required
  
• High-volume invoice processing experience preferred
  
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
