In this job, you’ll lead across‑functional teams to inform and prepare leaders and team members across the enterprise to effectively implement the company’s next‑generation Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system, “AMI 2.0,” a multi‑billion‑dollar program where SCE is leading the industry in implementing the latest “grid edge” technologies. As an AMI 2.0 Organizational Change Management Senior Advisor, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future? Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative. Analyze the current state of the organization and perform impact assessments around processes, systems, and culture to identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives. Monitor and evaluate progress against targets, identifying areas of improvement and making necessary adjustments. Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to gain support and alignment for the transformation efforts. Serve as lead on implementation teams and the single point of contact for assigned technology workshops as well as oversee the development of tools, data readiness efforts, and processes needed to ensure a successful implementation of Asset Management principles and asset integration business planning. Act as a subject‑matter expert. Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development. A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Ten or more years of business operations and/or transformation experience. Preferred Qualifications Organizational change management for large system implementations or upgrades. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written. Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner or Instructor. Experience navigating change in utilities, energy, or comparable infrastructure organizations with enterprise scale and regulatory complexity preferred. Electric utility experience. Advanced metering infrastructure experience. MBA. Comfortable balancing strategic design with hands‑on delivery across multiple, competing initiatives. Additional Information This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
