Remote, but need local to Texas. 12+ months Contract Position Requirements:

• A business consultant to manage projects under DMI (data modernization initiative).
• Gain deep insights into customer issues and potential risks based on subject matter expertise.
• Devise approach to solving complex problems.
• Exhibit intellectual leadership to the problem-solving effort.
• Manage conflicting stakeholder expectations.
• Provide thought leadership in project.
• Validate and ensure the recommendations are high impact and reflect deep insight.
• Manage project scope.
• Refocus efforts as issues/problems dynamically change in client environment.
• Identify the appropriate approach, tools, and methodologies to perform analysis and draw conclusions.
• Full leadership for managing delegated end-to-end creation of project deliverables.
• Help team to develop new insights from the analysis.
• Prioritize the recommendations based on ease of implementation and impact.
• Provide ongoing updates to customer on engagement status.
• Solicit feedback on interim deliverables.
• Manage project escalations.
• Monitors and manages project quality to ensure project deliverables are acceptable and fulfill the terms of the project contract or specifications.
• Compiles and distributes project information, status reports, and project budget expenditures for portfolio of projects.
• Works with business users to define project requirements.
• Creates documentation to capture requirements and address changes in original project.
• Determines the optimal resource mix for the portfolio delivery, and schedules activities to achieve the organization's goals.
• Participates in different phases and activities of the systems development lifecycle such as requirements analysis, high-level design, code review, quality assurance testing, implementation, and maintenance.
• Participates in continuous process improvement activities that support other sections within ISS.
• Uses an Agile systems development methodology to develop product and system specifications and deliver a quality product to end user in a timely manner.
• Utilizes various methods to prioritize projects.
• The worker will be required to comply with the client project management process, which includes ensuring deliverables meet defined project requirements.
• The worker will be required to comply with client data security policy.
