Description :
Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, 8 hours per day; 185 Contract Days.


Job Summary:
You will work closely with experienced professionals in a dynamic school setting, helping to empower young learners to reach their communication goals. The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant will assist SLP's in providing a complete array of services to students with identified communication problems, including students whose primary disability is "speech-language impairment" and students with primary disabilities who have needs in the area of communication (for example, students with autism, cognitive disabilities, or developmental delays).

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required.
• A current, active Minnesota SLPA license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (C's) or the ability to obtain.
• Experience working with school aged children.
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.

Pay & Benefits:
