Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT)

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, Arkansas, is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) to join our Respiratory department .

Under the direction of the Cardiopulmonary Manager, the the Registered Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive Polysomnography testing and analysis, and associated interventions as listed in OCH policy 710.300.022. The technologist is responsible for demonstrating a high level of quality patient care as it is related to the sleep lab and healthcare. The technologist is responsible for assisting the department manager in coordinating the smooth function of the department and providing technical support in all departmental activities and should serve as a roll model for trainees and technicians.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registration by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists is required
• Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.
